Thanks,

I've found tools like this myself and although they'll dial the phone, you still need to actually use the phone, or a bluetooth headset to be able to hear or talk. I want to be able to handle all communications through the Ipaq, i.e. using the microphone and speaker in the Ipaq, rather than a headset, car kit, or the phone.

Back to you..................

Here's one for the clever people....

I have an Ipaq 2210 which is paired with a Nokia 6230, currently use a Jabra bluetooth headset for calls to/from the Nokia. Works fine for GPRS and web browsing, etc, but I'd like to be able to use the Ipaq to fully control the phone and be able to make calls from the Ipaq touch screen. In short, using the Ipaq as you would a bluetooth headset, but without the bluetooth headset.

Having seen the new TOMTOM GO700 which can be paired to a mobile to give this control, using the TOMTOM's microphone and speaker, and giving the options to receive calls and dial from the phonebook or contacts list, I'd like to know how to do this with my setup.

I presume its just a software issue !?! Or is there more to it. Any advice or help would be much appreciated as I'm sure other people would like to do the same thing.

Thanks

Tim

I don't think you can do what you want, unless you add some phone hardware to the 2210 using a GSM SD card, or flog it on ebay and get something like the new ipaq messenger 6515.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for any such utility though, and please let me know if you find anything, any other forums readers got any thoughts??

Hi Timmy,

There are a few tools around that will do this, if you use my search tool and search on bluetooth you'll get a fair few hits!

I found this one for example Vito Dialler
