It was a good review as far as it goes - however, I have owned one now since it first came out and I thought I'd add some extra information. Comments and discussion always welcome.
1. It takes the micro SD cards - go and get one, load all the music and play away. BUT - don't use media player 10 - go and get TCPMP for smartphones. It's easier to use, can set up playlists and has an equaliser.
2. Headphones. Throw away those useless ones that come with the kit. Go to ebay and buy one of these:

3. It can integrate with Vista. I synch with it every day - no issues at all.
4. Predictive texting works better than the Nokia standard - but it takes getting used to. Especially the location of the space key. MS should be shot for that!!! Creating texts takes too many keypresses before you are into the message - but I can live with it (if someone knows how to get straight in, please let me know).
5. It will work with A2DP headphones, but not well. I bought some (Phillips) which have a built in mike. Paired up, sound quality was great and they could be used to send/receive calls. Disconnected and reconnected and the quality was awful. I think (no proof), that the sogtware defaults to connecting with the headset profile, not the A2DP profile. If you uncheck the "headset" option, it never connects. Once again, MS needs to do better testing (I think it's a software issue, not hardware).
6. I bought Pocket Informant for Smartphones the day I got the device. Well worth the money. Better than any "free" upgrade you can get.
7. I also got "Home-Edit" from the HP site. Allows you to customise the home screen. It's OK but I have stopped using it - the standard screen seems OK to me.
Apart from all that, it's a great little device. I have stopped using my Ipaq 4700 as my calender/mail mobile and use this now.
