It appears some iPAQ 910 912 and 914s left the factory with the incorrect ROM. You can download the latest here.
FIXES:

Improves Network Identity and Time Zone (NITZ) reliability.
The HP iPAQ GPS QK Position application no longer erronously reports "The Ephemeris file has expired" for the current files.
Improves LED indicator reliability when receiving push mail.
Delivers SMS messages that are over 160 characters as expected.
When receiving a second incoming call; it improves the quality of the notification tone; elimnates unexpected continuous ring tone; no longer suspends audio temporarily for the first line, causing the first caller to think the call is disconnected.

Dear Gregh,

I really need that ROM file because of those bugs mentioned, but there is "we are sorry" on that HP web page.
Do you have any idea how can I get it?
Anyway, it would be great to have a backup first, but there is no program for this on my 910...
Thanks in advance,

Peter

Tanks a lot!

One of the main reason why I have changed my HW6515 was it's unusable camera.
I hope it is containing a new camera software too, because it can make only still-life. I've tried all settings but a normal walking person gets cloudy like it was moving with the speed of Bruce Lee..Smiley

ROM no longer there.  Anybody have it?  My firmware version is 1.03.

BTW, Sprite is great for content BUs but will not backup the firmware.

Rick

1.03 is the latest, so you don't need to flash your device Smiley
